Michael Page proved to be the class of the field at Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia on Saturday night.

The Douglasville, Georgia native led flag-to-flag in the annual running of The Gobbler for the Schaeffer’s Oil Fall Nationals series at the 3/8-mile clay raceway.

Page started the night by qualifying well, then won the fast dash to secure the pole for the 50-lap feature. He went on to control the field from start to finish, winning by nearly a four second advantage over Randy Weaver.

The win was worth a cool $5,000 payday for Page, who scored his first career Schaeffer’s Oil Fall Nationals Series victory.

Dawsonville, Georgia’s Donald McIntosh finished in third, and left Boyd’s with the series points lead. Austin Smith finished in fourth, with Heath Hindman in fifth.

John Ownbey, Todd Morrow, Justin Shipley, Landon Bagby and Casey Turman rounded out the top 10.
