Republican Timothy Barr has defeated Democrat Clifton Marshall in the Georgia Senate 103 race to win another term in the Georgia General Assembly
Barr has been the representative for District 103 since he was first elected in the 2012 general election.
According to his website, Barr is a man of deep faith, with a young family and a small business, a construction company. He was born and raised in Northeast Georgia on a small farm.
"The folks that we represent," Barr said. "Our message, pro-family, pro-business, help-your-community message, really resonates with our voters."
Marshall is a third generation Georgian and a family man married to a retired teacher that taught in district 103 at Fort Daniel Elementary. He has 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
