Nearly half of all active Hall County voters have already voted in the 2020 Election

With just a few days left of early voting, 48% of active voters in Hall County have already cast ballots, according to the Secretary of State's Office.

So far, 61,813 of Hall County's 128,400 registered voters have voted early. Of those, 18,197 have been absentee ballots that have been sent in the mail or dropped off in the county's absentee dropboxes. The remaining 43,616 have been in-person voters.

Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said dealing with the record-breaking turnout as well as the added complications of COVID-19 has been a "Herculean" effort.

The early voting period wraps up on Friday, Oct. 30.
