JEFFERSON — Jackson County kept its state playoff hopes intact as they rolled to a 43-0 blowout win over Johnson on Friday at Panther Stadium.
Trey Ransom was a big factor in the Panthers' (3-3, 2-1 Region 8-5A) as he rushed five times for 138 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Quarterback Isaiah Maxey was almost perfect, completed 5 of 6 passes for 107 yards and a score.
Jake Stinchcomb hauled in a touchdown pass and rushed for another. Anthony Finley led the receiving game with two catches for 75 yards and a touchdown.
The Knights remain winless on the season (0-7, 0-4 Region 8-5A).
