Football: Rabun County leads area in scoring; Bluff, Buford top defensive list

Area teams continue putting up some pretty impressive numbers, both offensively and defensively, through Week 7 of the high school football season.

Rabun County has taken the lead as the area's top offensive producer with back-to-back games of more than 60 points, while Cherokee Bluff and Buford remain slightly behind the Wildcats.

Defensively, Bluff and Buford have held their opponents under 10 points per game on average. 

Forfeit scores like 1-0, etc. are not factored into average. Only games actually played.)
