No injuries were reported after a collision between a train and tractor-trailer in Jackson County late Monday afternoon.
The collision took place in the Pendergrass area sometime during the 4:00 hour, and shut down Jackson Concourse Road at U.S. 129 well into the night.
The Jefferson Police Department confirmed on social media that no one was hurt during the accident, while the city Fire Department said a southbound lane of U.S. 129 was also shut down as the scene was processed.
