A 44-year-old Gainesville man has been charged with murder following a Sunday evening shooting in Clermont, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies arrested Christopher Myers after responding to a domestic dispute in the 6100 block of Hulsey Road at about 7 p.m. Sunday.
Myers is accused of killing Tim Walden, 60, with a handgun during an altercation at a home they shared. Walden was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, where he died.
Myers was taken into custody without incident at the scene. He remains in the Hall County Jail.
The case remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
