GAINESVILLE — Despite being short-handed, North Hall's offense churned out 515 total yards en route to its third-straight win over rival Chestatee, 48-28, at War Eagle Stadium on Friday.
The Trojans (1-3) have won the last 13 of 14 against the War Eagles (0-4).
Clark Howell had a career night, rushing for 260 yards on 26 carries and four touchdowns. Kevin Rochester also turned in a career night with 172 yards on 24 carries and three scores.
Rochester and Howell helped the Trojans to jump out to a 13-0 lead in the first quarter, scoring on 7-yard and 4-yard runs. In the second quarter, Rochester crossed the goal line twice, a 3-yard and 2-yard run, pushing the lead to 27-0.
Chestatee's first touchdown came on a Luke Bornhorst 7-yard pass to Christian Jarrard just before halftime. Bornhorst was 19 of 33 for 261 yards and a touchdown.
North Hall added 21 more points off a Howell 27-yard run, a 3-yard run and a 13-yard run in the second half.
Bornhorst connected with Hayden Gowin on a 30-yard strike in third quarter and a 21-yard pass to Jarrard in the fourth quarter. Elijah Pruitt added the War Eagles' final score late in the fourth quarter on a 3-yard dash.
