Gas station employees robbed at gunpoint

Two employees at the Exxon Food Mart on Browns Bridge Road were held by gunpoint on Friday evening, January 24, leaving the Hall County Sheriff's office looking for a suspect. The gunman demanded cash, and the two employees complied, however the thief removed cash from the register drawer, as well. The amount of cash taken has not been disclosed.

The suspect was wearing a black mask at the time, but is described as a white or Hispanic male, 5’5 – 5’8, heavy set, wearing jeans and a black hoodie.

This is the second armed robbery of a Hall County business in two days.

Anyone with information on the suspect's identity or whereabouts should contact Sheriff’s Office Investigator Ayers at (770) 533-7187.

This remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff's office.
