*Sautee-Nacoochee Community Association weekly update.

*Two University of North Georgia alumni, Charles Mitchell and Ebony Glenn, will have their works of art on display in the school's art galleries in a few weeks.  Glenn's pieces will be showcased Feb. 4-27 in the Roy C. Moore Art Gallery on the Gainesville campus.  In Dahlonega, "Music is only Skin Deep" by Mitchell will run from Feb. 13-March 16 in the Bob Owens Art Gallery in Hoag Student Center.

*The Arts Council in Gainesville is conducting a Community Input Survey.  Click here to participate.

*A scam fishing and hunting license website has been detected by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division. This site appears to be active in both North Georgia and on the coast.  DNR says the only legitimate place to purchase a hunting and fishing license online in Georgia is at www.gooutdoorsgeorgia.com.

*This year's State of Hall County presentation will take place Feb. 1 at 10:00 at the Gainesville Civic Center.  A meet-and-greet will be held beginning at 9:30.

*Nikki Chandler has been named the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce's Vice President of Existing Industry.  She is a lifelong resident of Hall County worked more than a decade in the poultry industry, starting as a payroll clerk and working her way up to managerial positions.

*A retirement ceremony will be held Jan. 28 at 3:00 for Sharon Hall, who has been a Poll Official with the Dawson County Board of Elections for 44 years.  The ceremony will be held at the Board of Elections Office in Dawsonville.
