GAINESVILLE — The Riverside Military track team hosted the RMA Indoor Challenge at the John L. Beaver Fieldhouse on Saturday.
A total of 16 teams competed in the event with more than 70 athletes vying for medals.
Riverside's Shad Dabney captured first in the 55-meter dash with a time of 6.8 seconds. Philemon Nwosu took first in the 55-meter high hurdles at 8.18 seconds.
Lamar Gordon took second in the boys shot put, throwing 44.3’.
The Eagles' 4X200 relay team of Jermaine Harris, Shad Dabney, Cooper Lindsey and Philemon Nwosu grabbed second with a time of 1:40, and the 4x400m relay team took second running with Jermaine Harris, Cooper Lindsey, Adriel Clarke, and Philemon Nwosu with a time of 3:54.
RMA will host another indoor track meet on Feb. 1 and a Middle School Indoor Track Meet on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
