The Georgia Department of Transportation will implement single lane closures on SR 347/Lanier Islands Parkway from Holiday Marina to McEver Road in South Hall County beginning Thursday, Jan. 16.
Closures will be in place from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and will continue daily through the end of January, according to GDOT spokeswoman Katie Strickland.
Strickland said crews will be completing the final asphalt topping along the widening project on the road. The work will be done weather permitting.
