A county park in the North Hall area is getting a new amenity - mountain bike trails.
According to Hall County Parks & Leisure Services' latest newsletter, the trails are being added to Cool Springs Park and work on them should be finished by spring.
"Parks & Leisure is proud to partner with PRIMA TAPPA, a non-profit athletic club, and the Hall County High School Mountain Bike League, in the development of mountain bike trails at Cool Springs Park," according to the newsletter. "Work began last year on the development of the trails, and local students in the Mountain Bike League, have spent this past Fall 'setting' the trails by 'riding in' the trail system."
Hall County high schools will be able to use the mountain bike trails for races, competitions, and practices.
When not in use for official league events, the trails will be open to the public.
