Corps seeking gate attendants for two Lanier campgrounds

By AccessWDUN Staff

Two campgrounds on Lake Lanier may not open on time for the summer season because of a shortage of gate attendants.

According to a posting on the Corps of Engineers’ Facebook page, the agency currently does not have gate attendants for Old Federal Campground and Van Pugh South.

In an effort to fill these positions, the Corps has begun taking bids on providing the service – and the bidding period is open until January 27th.
