Nearly 40 complaints against Lakeview Behavioral Health, located in unincorporated Norcross, are currently being investigated by Gwinnett County Police, and as of Friday one death.
According to Gwinnett police spokeswoman Cpl. Michele Pihera, a Suwanee man who was a patient at Lakeview Behavioral Health was recently found dead by employees, but it is unclear what the man's cause of death is at this time.
According to police, the investigation stems from a number of victims who have reported receiving various injuries when they received treatment at Lakeview.
The Gwinnett Police Department is asking anyone with information or knowledge on any mistreatment of current or former patients, to contact investigators directly.
As of Monday, no arrests have been made in any of the cases.
The facility is located at 1 Technology Parkway in unincorporated Norcross.
