Jefferson routs East Jackson, 70-6

COMMERCE — Jefferson rushed for 409 yards to blow past East Jackson, 70-6, Friday night in the Region 8-3A opener at Eagles Stadium.

Tre Reece led the Dragons' rushing attack with just one carry, a 75-yard touchdown run. The Dragons (3-1, 1-0 Region 8-3A) had 13 running backs log yards in the scorebook. 

Jefferson outscored East Jackson 56-0 in the first quarter and 14-6 in the second. 

Caleb Adair scored the Eagles only touchdown. He finished the night with 25 yards on seven carries. 

Jefferson outgained East Jackson 466-125 and forced four turnovers.

East Jackson (3-2, 0-1 Region 8-3A) travels to Monroe Area on Friday. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.

Jefferson plays host to Franklin County at 7:30 p.m.
