SHARPSBURG — Lanier Christian Academy rebounded from last week’s loss with a 28-0 win over Central Christian Friday night on the road.
Junior quarterback Andrew Perry rushed for 113 yards and 2 touchdowns and senior running back Gray Stephenson added 63 and a score on the ground for the Lightning (3-2).
Junior Ethan Gerrard led the defense with 7 tackles, 4 for loss, and racked up 2 sacks as well as LCA recorded its first shutout of the season.
The Lightning will play host to Cherokee Christian next week.
