SWEETWATER, Tenn. - David Crabtree took the victory in Saturday night’s Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series race at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tennessee.
The win was worth a $4,000 payday for the Maryville, Tennessee native.
Crabtree started on the pole and battled with Matt Henderson on restarts. Henderson caught up to Crabtree in lapped traffic, but Crabtree worked his way around the slower cars. Crabtree pulled away over the closing laps and went on to score the victory.
Henderson came home in the second. Trevor Sise was flagged in third, was disqualified in post race tech due to an unapproved.
That moved Riley Hickman to third, with Kyle Courtney in fourth and David Webb in fifth.
Ronnie Johnson, Cory Hedgecock, Jordan Rodabaugh, Patrick Duggan and Kurt English rounded out the top ten.
