A man who fell 75 to 100 feet off the rock face of Yonah Mountain in White County Sunday afternoon was taken to an area trauma center.
Rescuers from White County Fire Services, White County Emergency Medical Services, Lee Arrendale State Prison Fire Department and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources responded to the 4 p.m. call for help.
After several hours, the patient was safely removed from the bottom of the rock face and was transported to the trauma center, according to a social media post by White County EMS.
His condition is unknown.
