GAINESVILLE — Chestatee scored 11 first inning runs en route to an 18-2 win in three innings over West Hall in Region 7-4A action Tuesday.
West Hall led 2-0 after the top of the first inning on RBI singles from Carrianne Johnson and Madison Blum but could not hold the lead.
The Lady War Eagles answered in a big way sending 16 batters to the plate in the bottom of the first. Ashlyn Gibbs had a RBI double and Hannah Pierce had two RBI hits in the inning. Pierce finished with three hits and four RBI for the game.
Isabel Long got the win in the circle for Chestatee.
