Hancock, Goddard take Super Pro wins at Commerce

Jeremy Hancock and Joe Goddard split a pair of Super Pro wins in Saturday’s Summit ET Drag Racing Series event at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia.

Hancock, from Homer, Georgia, got the win in the first Super Pro race over Blaine Mayer in an all dragster final. Hancock dialed in a 4.74 and ran a dead on 4.747 E. at 145.63 MPH and a 0.006 reaction. Mayer dialed in a 4.81 and ran a 4.804 ET at 144.26 MPH and a 0.016 reaction.

In the second Super Pro race, Goddard defeated Mark Hancock in the final. Goddard dialed in a 4.92 and ran a 4.944 E. at 139.49 MPH and a 0.004 reaction. Hancock dialed in a 4.84 and ran a 4.827 ET at 142.32 MPH and a 0.034 reaction.

Other winners on the day included Chad Brewer in Pro, Dickey Forrester in Sportsman, Aaron Kennedy in 5-9 Jr. Dragster, Alayna Carden in 10-12 Jr. Dragster, and Hayden Wilson in 13-17 Jr. Dragster.
