Falcons place G Chris Lindstrom on IR, sign OL John Wetzel

By AccessWDUN Staff

FLOWERY BRANCH — The Atlanta Falcons have placed guard Chris Lindstrom on injured reserve and have agreed to terms with offensive lineman John Wetzel.

Lindstrom was selected by the Falcons in the first round (14th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft and had his first career start against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1.

Wetzel was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Oakland Raiders after the 2013 Draft. He has seen action in 40 games with 24 starts at both right and left tackle, and right guard. The Boston College alum spent time with the Atlanta Falcons this past training camp.
