LCA drives past Holy Spirit 36-13

GAINESVILLE — Lanier Christian Academy had no problems scoring in a 36-13 win over Holy Spirit Prep Friday night at Gainesville Middle School. 

Junior quarter Andrew Perry rushed for 85 yards and passed for 29 and two touchdowns to lead the Lightning (2-1). 

Charlie Vera added another 80 yards on the ground and a touchdown, while Gray Stephenson gained 49 yards and two scores for LCA. 

LCA led 28-0 at the half and extended its lead to 36-7 by the end of the third quarter. Holy Spirit Prep added one more score in the fourth quarter.
