The entrance and exit ramps at the new Exit 14 on I-985 between Oakwood and Flowery Branch are scheduled to open this week.
As AccessWDUN reported last week, only the ramps will open on Tuesday afternoon, not the bridge over the interstate. It still needs a little more work before its ready for traffic.
Georgia Department of Transportation officials say the opening of the lanes will follow a ceremony that morning at which the new interchange will be officially designated "The Atlanta Falcons Training Facility Interchange."
No date has been given for the opening of the overpass bridge.
