Friday Game Night is back and full of content

By Bo Wilson Sports Editor

Most football fans long for football season as soon as it’s over. That’s why the build-up to a brand new season feels like an eternity.

No worries, though, the wait is soon to be over, as the high school football season kicks off in earnest in just eight days.

The 2019 campaign has several showdowns around the state and in northeast Georgia, and AccessWDUN and Friday Game Night are here to provide all the information you will need before opening weekend.

Check out our Friday Game Night page and the previews for our 24 area programs – including video interviews with area coaches, as well as schedules and insight that will have you ready for kickoff.

This season will be packed with intriguing storylines, new coaches, players to watch, teams trying to make it back to prominence and so much more.

Over the course of the next eight days, we’ll take a look at the running backs in the area, who might play the region spoiler, the most highly-anticipated games of 2019, power position players, things we expect to see, and visit with Hall County superintendent Will Schofield.
