A Gainesville man was arrested Thursday morning after Hall County investigators determined he knowingly possessed a video of a child being sexually abused by an adult.
Hall County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 29-year-old Sergio Albarran under a search warrant obtained earlier in the day.
Authorities seized several electronic devices from Albarran’s residence at the 200 block of Highland Terrace near Atlanta Highway.
At last report, Albarran was held without bond at the Hall County jail; He faces a charge of sexual exploitation of children.
The case began as a cyber tip from the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
