Construction is expected to begin soon on Cumming City Center, a downtown development that will include a mix of public and private tenants.
In addition private businesses and the city's police department and municipal court plans also call for lots of greenspace, walking trails, and an amphitheater.
Groundbreaking for the complex, which will be located on 75 acres on Canton Highway next to Forsyth Central High School is set for August 7.
