The Southern Super Series was slated to compete on Friday night at 5 Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida. Rains moved in over the speedway about an hour before race time, and were persistent enough to lead series and track officials to postpone the event. The race will now be run on Friday, July 26. Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia seemed to be on target for a big race night, but showers and lightning rolled into the area right around 8 o’clock Saturday, leading track officials to cancel the event.
