More than 1,100 members and visitors participated in the Habersham EMC Annual Meeting Thursday night at Habersham Ninth Grade Academy.
This year 1,122 members registered for the session during which David Wall, Dustin Hulsey, and Dan Thurmond were elected to serve three-year terms on the Board of Directors. Also during the meeting, new officers were elected: Jeff Ferguson, Chairman; David Wall, Vice-Chairman; Billy Cantrell, Secretary-Treasurer
A number of door prizes were awarded including the grand prize of $500 cash, which was won by David Haynes of Lula.
