*The new Georgia 183/Georgia 52 roundabout in Dawson County is scheduled to open Monday.

*The City of Sugar Hill will host a fireworks show July 3 at 6:30 p.m. at E.E. Robinson Park.

*The Gainesville High School Navy Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps sent six cadets -  Jose Luna, Steven Le, Yahir Contreras, Abraham Aguirre, Sara Alvarez, Ivan Medrano - to the Area 12 NJROTC Leadership Academy at Riverside Military Academy earlier this month.

*ACCG, Georgia’s County Association, recently awarded Dawson County Commissioner Tim Satterfield with a certificate for successfully completing the core requirements in the Lifelong Learning Academy.

*The City of Cornelia has activated a "construction cam" so the public can monitor the construction of the town's new Municipal Complex and Fire Station in a time-lapsed format. There are 6 different views with each image being updated every 30 minutes. The camera is available via the City of Cornelia’s website at https://www.corneliageorgia.org/390 or at https://public.earthcam.net/corneliacam.
