New photos of abandoned infant; renewed call for public's help

Forsyth County Sheriff's Officials renew their call for help in identifying a newborn child found more than two weeks ago.

Cpl. Doug Rainwater said the search for the baby girl's parents continues and they've released new photos of the infant drawing attention back to the case and asking for the public's help.

A family living near a wooded area off of Daves Creek Road heard the infant's cries and discovered her inside a plastic bag the night of June 6th.

Investigators said it appears she had just recently been born and she is now in the custody of the Department of Family and Children Services.

If anyone has any information related to this case or knows of a female who was in the late stages of pregnancy and may have given birth to this infant, please contact Detective. T. Conner at the numbers listed.
