Overton holds off Eckert for USLMS USA 100 win at VMS

JAMAICA, Va. - Brandon Overton made series history in winning Saturday night’s USA 100 for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series at Virginia Motor Speedway.

The Evans, Georgia racer edged out Rick Eckert by .119 seconds to score the $20,000 victory at the Jamaica, Virginia raceway.

Fast qualifier Ross Bailes finished in third, with Zack Mitchell in fourth and Chris Ferguson in fifth.

Ben Watkins, Benji Hicks, Gregg Satterlee, Michael Brown and Jacob Hawkins rounded out the top ten.

Bailes, Michael Brown, Ferguson and Daulton Wilson scored heat race wins on the night.

The Ultimate Super Late Models will be back in action again on June 29 at Lake View Motor Speedway in Nichols, South Carolina.
