*Three Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School seniors involved in the performing arts were among the recipients of college scholarships awarded by the Athens-based Classic Center Cultural Foundation. *The Georgia School Boards Association recognized the Gainesville City Board of Education as a 2019 Quality School Board at the annual GSBA Summer Conference last weekend. The recognition showcases best practices in school governance and leadership among Georgia public school boards, according to a Gainesville City School System news release. This year, 21 of the 180 public school boards in Georgia earned the Quality Board status.
