Ken Coleman's radio show returns to WDUN today

By AccessWDUN staff

Ken Coleman, whose radio career started years ago at WDUN, is bringing his now-syndicated program back to the station this afternoon.

“The Ken Coleman Show,” a caller-driven career show that helps listeners who are stuck in a job they hate or searching for something more out of their career, will air weekdays from 5-6 p.m. on WDUN AM/FM.

Coleman’s first show aired as part of WDUN’s Saturday lineup before it moved to weekday afternoons. He left the station in 2014 to join Dave Ramsey’s company, Ramsey Solutions.

“Because I started out on Saturday radio on the airwaves of WDUN, it is certainly surreal to be returning to the WDUN lineup with my nationally syndicated show,” Coleman said. “A dream coming true where the dream started!”

Bill Maine, executive vice president and general manager of WDUN, said Coleman’s show will be a strong addition to the station’s lineup, but he said he was particularly happy to bring back an alum.

“It’s always gratifying when someone who works with you is able to move on to bigger and better things,” Maine said. “Ken is a real talent, and we’re thrilled we’re able to get him back on the air.”

Coleman, a career expert and best-selling author, said he will always remember his early days in Gainesville.

“I love the Jacobs family, Bill Maine and the team at WDUN and I’m excited about being a part of the family again,” he said. “The show was created to help people discover who they were meant to be and help them make that dream a reality. I am so excited to back on the air in North Georgia!”

Pulling from his own personal struggles, missed opportunities and career successes, Coleman helps people discover what they were born to do and provides practical steps to make their dream job a reality. In addition to hosting his radio show, Coleman also hosts the top-rated EntreLeadership Podcast.

In 2013, he released his first book, “One Question: Life-Changing Answers from Today’s Leading Voices.” In his book, Coleman combines engaging storytelling with a passionate delivery to share insights and observations on the traits and tactics of great leaders and influencers, motivating people to never stop asking questions.

Coleman joined Ramsey Solutions in 2014 and frequently guest hosts The Dave Ramsey Show — the third-largest nationally syndicated talk radio show in America.
