Jody Blalock, Sr. drove his 1949 Hudson to his first win of the 2019 season over the weekend in Summit ET Drag Racing Series action at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia.
Blalock, of Commerce, defeated Allen Delance for the Pro division win during the Memorial Day Weekend event.
Blalock ran a 7.129 ET on his 7.00 dial in at 92.68 mph. and a great 0.011 reaction. Delance ran a 6.877 ET on his 6.75 dial in at 100.28 mph and a 0.185 reaction.
Other winners on the weekend included Dylan Coggins in Super Pro, James Noel in Sportsman, Jacob Wilson in Jr. Street, Kristen Goddard in 5-9 Jr. Dragster, Hayden Wallace in 10-12 Jr. Dragster, and Macey Ludolph in 13-17 Jr. Dragster.
