*One-hundred-thirty Hall County School System high school graduates qualified for a Fine Arts Decal on their diplomas this year.  This was the second year Hall County has participated in the program.  Last year, 28 students earned the Seal.  Click here to read more about the initiative and see a list of those students who qualified this year.

*Young Harris College invites alumni and their families to return to campus Friday, June 7 – Sunday, June 9 for Alumni Weekend.

*Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School inducted 16 seniors into the Cum Laude Society on Saturday, May 18.

*Hall County Parks & Leisure Services is adding Adult Softball to the list of programs it offers. Several leagues will be offered.  For more information or to register teams, contact Athletics Supervisor Wayne Briscoe at 770-535-8280.

*Helen's Memorial Day observance will be held Monday at 10:45 at Helen Veterans Park.

*Forsyth County Board of Commissioners recently recognized Forsyth County Engineering Department Administrative Supervisor Patricia Ponder for her upcoming retirement. Ponder has been a county employee for 29 years and her final day with the county will be on May 31.
