*Young Harris College conferred 195 degrees on graduates participating in the College’s Commencement Ceremony last Saturday.

*The Hall County School System's 2019 Creative Writing Contest winners have been announced.  Click here to see who they are.

*The Sugar Hill Memorial Day Ceremony will be held at city hall on Monday, May 27 at 11 a.m. 

*Standard and Poor’s Global Ratings has notified the Town of Braselton that its “A” rating on outstanding water and sewer revenue bonds has been reaffirmed.

*Sign-ups are now being taken for the summer reading program in the Hall County Library System.  You may register at any of the library branches or online.  The deadline is July 20.  The program is sponsored by United Way of Hall County and Friends of the Hall County Library System.

*The 2nd Annual Solstice Belly Dance Soiree will be held June 21, hosted by Habersham Winery in Helen.   It is a fundraiser for Yonah Preserve Trails.  More details are available at  www.habershamwinery.com
