A Mattie's Call issued by Barrow County authorities Saturday afternoon has been cancelled after the missing man was found safe.
The Winder Police Department issued the alert for Richard Ivey Coleman, 70, around noon Saturday, and spent nearly 7 hours searching for him until he was safely located shortly before 7 p.m.
A media release rescinding the alert did not provide any other information regarding how Coleman was found.
