Baseball: Sage resigns as West Hall baseball coach

Chad Sage has stepped down as baseball coach at West Hall High School, according to a release from West Hall Athletics Director David Wagner.

Wagner made the announced Friday.

"The school would like to thank Coach Sage for the time and effort he has given to the baseball program and its student-athletes," Wagner said in the press release.

Sage will remain at the school as a teacher.

The Spartans finished the 2019 campaign with a 7-20-1 record. Sage led the Spartans to the playoffs three of the last four seasons and finished with a 52-59 career record.

West Hall will begin its search for a new baseball coach immediately.
