*Hall County Commission Clerk Lisa Ritchie was recently reappointed and sworn in to serve a second one-year term on the 2019-2020 Association County Commissioners of Georgia Board of Managers to represent the association’s County Clerks as Section President.

*The North Georgia Community Foundation announces two recent additions to the organization’s team. Abigail Carter was hired as the Systems Administrator and Stephanie Gibbs as an Executive Assistant.

*The FLW Bass Fishing League tournament season will continue Saturday, May 11, with a T-H Marine FLW BFL Savannah River Division tournament on Lake Hartwell. Up to 400 boaters and co-anglers will be competing for top awards of up to $8,000 and $3,000 respectively in the one-day tournament.

*Alicia Johnson, a teacher at Chicopee Woods Elementary School, and Michelle Seabolt, who teaches at Johnson High, have been named C.W. Davis Scholars and will receive $500 scholarships towards their pursuit of advanced degrees. The scholarships are named in memory of C.W. Davis, a longtime Hall County educator and former county schools superintendent.
