GAINESVILLE — The Gainesville boys golf team turned in a four-under-par performance, 284, to walk away with the 2019 The Invite tournament championship at Chattahoochee Golf Club Saturday.
The Red Elephants recorded a two-day total of 578 to best the field.
Sophomore Andrew Hughes earned the low medalist title with a two-day total of 141, two under par, to lead the Red Elephants.
Hughes was selected to the All-Tournament team with Myles Jones of Lambert, Zayne Hilderbrand from Gainesville, Ryan Davidson from Gainesville, Carter Pendleton of Dalton and Jonathan Parker of Columbus.
