CANTON — The Gainesville girls golf team won the Grizzly Classic Saturday at the Woodmont Country Club.
The Gainesville boys finished finished behind Johns Creek.
For the girls, Morgan Nichol led the way with an 85. Karina Collins fired a 91 and Vivian Robinson a 92 for the Lady Red Elephants.
Andrew Hughes paced the boys with a 71, which was good for a tie for second plae overall. Ryan Davidson fired a 73, Zayne Hilderbrand had an 80, and Sam Patterson shot an 81 for Gainesville.
