A three-vehicle wreck on Ga. 365 south of Alto Saturday afternoon sent more than a half-dozen people to area hospitals.
Habersham County Emergency Services Director Chad Black said his agency responded to the wreck on Ga. 365 at Crane Mill Road.
“A total of seven people were transported by EMS, including several children,” Black said.
Black said one child was taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta by Habersham County Emergency Services. Other patients were transported by Habersham and Hall County Fire Services to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
Banks County Fire also assisted due to all other Habersham med units already were committed to other calls in the county.
Black said no update on the condition of the patients is available.
The Georgia State Patrol is investigating.
