A Gwinnett County Police Officer suffered serious injuries after being involved in a collision on I-85 at Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road.
The officer was taken to an area hospital in serious condition. Another driver was also transported in serious condition.
The crash tied up I-85 for a few hours during afternoon rush hour.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and the cars were taken to Gwinnett County Police headquarters in Lawrenceville.
The officer's name has not been released.
