Forsyth County Director of Voter Registration and Elections Barbara Luth has been appointed Chief Registrar and Chairperson of the Board of Registration and Elections.

She was named to the post by Superior Court Chief Judge Jeffrey S. Bagley.

Luth will be sworn in at 9 a.m. on April 2 during the Forsyth County Board of Registrations and Elections regular monthly meeting.

“Ms. Luth’s vast background and experience in voting and elections (make) her imminently qualified for the position of chief voter registrar,” said Judge Bagley.

Luth was appointed from a list of people recommended by the Forsyth County Grand Jury following the retirement of Donald Glover.
