Gainesville High School has reopened after a search of the grounds turned up no threats following a bomb scare earlier today.

Very few details are available at this point, but Gainesville City School System Superintendent Dr. Jeremy Williams has confirmed local law enforcement officers are investating a bomb threat at Gainesville High School.
"Gainesville Police and Hall County Sheriff’s Office are present at Gainesville High School to investigate a bomb threat that was found written on a wall," Williams said in an email statement. "Public Safety personnel are throughly checking the school property at this time."
Gainesville Police Chief Jay Parrish said no one is being allowed to leave campus at this time, and no one is being allowed access to the school.
