Officials say a two-vehicle crash in White County left all three people involved seriously injured Friday evening.
Georgia State Patrol Corporal Joshua Hedden said the crash happened just after 7:00 on Post Road when a 1997 Ford F-250 being driven by 22-year-old Austin Scott Jarrard was going east on Post Road when he lost control while negotiating a left curve. Hedden said Jarrard's vehicle then spun into the oncoming lane, where it hit a second vehicle head on.
The second vehicle was a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse being driven by 31-year-old Andrea Marie Bacino. Both Bacino and passenger, 49-year-old Teresa Ann Stowers were seriously hurt.
Hedden said Jarrard, whose vehicle overturned during the wreck, was also seriously injured. He has been charged with failure to maintain lane. Hedden said all three people were wearing seat belts at the time.
The crash left Post Road shut down for over two hours.
