Lanier Technical College has hired John Leverett to serve as Director of the Motorsports Vehicle Technology Program on the Gainesville campus.
Leverett comes to Lanier Tech with over three decades of automotive and motorsports experience, the last 24 years as the Chief Engineer for Chestnut Mountain-based Panoz Cars.
His cars have won the 24 Hours of LeMans, 12 Hours of Sebring, and most recently, a Manufacturers Championship in the 2018 Pirelli World Challenge Series.
