VIDEO: Buford programs complete title sweep; earns AOW honor

By Bo Wilson Sports Editor

Winning state championships have become an old habit for the Buford athletic programs. Last Friday, the athletic department added two more titles to the trophy case.

Both the Buford girls and boys basketball teams swept the Class 5A championships in Macon.

It was the third straight Class 5A title for the Lady Wolves, for the boys, it was their second ever state championship.

For those reasons, both teams have been named this week’s Conditioned Air Systems Athletes of the Week.
