More than 70 employers expected for Gainesville job fair

By AccessWDUN Staff

A job fair in Gainesville later this month is expected to include more than 70 north Georgia employers.

It will be held March 20 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Civic Center, hosted by the Georgia Department of Labor, the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, Lanier Technical College, and the Gainesville Area Employment Committee.

The event typically attracts more than 1,000 job seekers, according to the Chamber of Commerce.

Job seekers interested in attending the event may visit to create an account so you can prepare and submit a résumé. Having an Employ Georgia account expedites the interview process, according to Labor Department officials.

Applicants are encouraged to bring their résumés and driver's licenses and to dress "business casual."
